Case study #1
Remember your mom/ dad used to say, "it's no excuse for not doing well because you don't like the teacher." or "it may be your fault and not that the teacher cannot teach.", then after the 3.93 hour long lecture, she/ he turns around to complain to your dad/ mom, "My boss was such a bitch today; do you know he made me do the reports again/ sign files that he could sign/ put all the shit on me?"
Case study #2
So far, the only one that comes to mind is the movie "Hitch". Yes, Ms N, we know Will Smith is hot naked or in a tightsuit. So, he's supposedly a love guru, teaching all the guys out there all the know-how of love when it's all actually a really big flop. You know, because the thing that you do from the heart are actually the things that catches a lady's fancy. [Tip, guys.] And when Will himself actually falls in love, everything goes wham bam out of the window. In the end, there's no rule in love.
So what does this actually say about us?
To me, I would say that perhaps Hobbes was right after all.

After that, I nearly stepped into hell.
We went to watch a movie, and then they (3 against 1) wanted to watch Orphan. Qiqi actually wanted to watch The Proposal, but it was a 2 against 1 decision; I was on the fence. Almost always is, but that's not the point here. Ok, so I relented and we watched the Orphan. God, the night I watched the movie, I turned on my night light and played Il Divo throughout. I don't know, it's just psychologically disturbing. You'd never see kids in the same light again.
Just now, I watched a paranormal investigation on Star World. Then I remembered I did some research on ESP (extrasensory perception) a while ago after reading books by Kay Hooper about psychics using their powers to do criminal investigative work.
There are different kinds of psychic abilities; it's still catagorised in your 5 senses, just something extra. For example, clairvoyance (precognition) is seeing into the future. All of us are psychic, just only to a certain extent. Even if you want to be psychic, it's at your own risk. Imagine seeing dead people everywhere; we'd all make money being ghost whisperers.

Haiz. Badly done. I got sent home for my econs paper because I hit trigger temp. I fail all papers before moderation. After, it's like, Es and Ss. So sick. I felt so guilty. I've finally told my mom. She didn't scold me like she used to in the past,but the damage done is still the same.
I promise to do my best for promos and A levels, so that I don't have to go through this feeling again.
Harry Potter
It fueled my writing brain, to say the least.
Technicals and such, it was good. Like, really good. Apparition especially. It looks painful, actually. And the way they did it too. For example, when the Death Eaters (DE) apparated, it was filmed as black smoke streaking in the air. But when Dumbledore and Harry did it, it was taken where we can actually see Harry going through the process of warping through time, space and air. Like first and third person. It brings us closer to our protagonists and distances us from the vileness of the villains. And when Dumbledore fell after he was spelled by Snape (I feel bad for him), the hair, the blankness of his eyes. And they did it on purpose, because within minutes all of us in the theatre was sobbing/ sniffing. The technique prolongs the grief of the loss of a beloved character.
But story development wise, still a borderline for me. Disjointed, rushed, slightly hilarious when Lavender kept trying to snog Ron until he had his nose pushed flat (Good for Hermione to shoot those birds at him), the kiss in the RoR was just, oh ok it's done (Daniel Radcliffe was actually anticipating it, when they did the close up. I feel sad for his future girlfriend). I still prefer the director for the first and second movies.
Ok, apologies to YP for leaving her at the (no, not altar) station waiting for me to come down. And the theatre was freezing. ><
SO MANY PAIRINGS, IT'S PRACTICALLY A FEAST. I'M GOING TO BUY THE DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT, BUT IT'S NOT BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD.
